"O my gosh! I am pregnant!"
Your heart thumps louder ever than before and suddenly you find yourself lost... lost in directions...and you have never been more confused in your whole life until this moment when you discover you are pregnant.
If you are in this situation, fear not my friend. Though at this moment, you are confused, find a mature family friend or a family member whom you can look up to, and seek their advice. And most importantly, call the father of your unborn child to tell him of your situation.
Do talk with a trusted family friend or family member (such as your mum) on your current predicament. I am sure you will be surprised how much they support you. Now I don't mean they agree with your doing, but like what an English proverb says "No use crying over split milk.". Support can come in the ways of moral, mental, spiritual, physical and financial support.
Say after calling the father of your child and he agrees to take responsibility, then congratulations! But if he pushes off his responsibility, well, life is not at the end of the road. It is the absolute opposite! Your life has just taken a new dimension!
Perhaps you have a passing thought of abortion? As human beings, we need to be responsible for each and every of our action. Killing an unborn foetus will not help you in anyway to be a "free" person again! If the result of having sex outside marriage ends up with a baby, then stand up, accept the reality and keep the baby.
There are 2 things you can do after giving birth to your child :-
1. Send your baby to an adoption centre.
2. Be strong and take responsibility for your child.
I have heard not one but many stories of women who have had nightmares of their aborted child or children in their dreams and they woke up in cold sweat.
Abortion is Murder. Whether it is legalised or not, it does not matter. Ultimately, the end result is the death of a unborn human being.
